I have to be honest, none of us are particularly relishing the evenings drawing in and to quote The Carpenters, “We’ve only (really) just begun”!
So whenever he can, Nigel has been getting Iris and Bertie out of their school uniforms as quickly he can so that they can all have a run round the park before the light is gone …….
….. with a flask of hot chocolate and some Rich Tea biscuits on hand to keep any chills at bay.
But yesterday I think it was Bertie who was worried about Nigel’s chills, bless him …….
….. insisting, despite Nigel’s protestations to the contrary that he should wrap up warm and snuggle down ……..
…….. what is he like?
Ahhhhhhhh, the joys of being a much loved uncle eh?

Well done, Master Bertie. Mum, TtS and LL have done a great job raising the caring young man.
Coronavirus Xmas, which I hope doesn't come to pass. Hopefully BJ can sort something out.
No Nativity this year because the 3 Wise Men face a travel ban.
The shepherds have been furloughed.
The Inn keeper has closed up, under tier 3 regulations and had a slump in bookings.
Santa won't be working as he would break the rule of 6 with Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Donner and Blitzen.
As for Rudolph, with that red nose, he should be isolating and taking a test.
Ooooooooooooh MR D hope young Nige doesn't read your rather dismal news on poor Rudolph!!! I think he has already heard as he looks prostrate with grief in that final photo there!!! JantheFan x
