A New Place To Nom?

Darrell has noticed that there is a new Polish cafe opening soon in Evesham…….

…….. and as we are very much strangers to the cuisine of Poland, it would be most rude for us not to pop along when it is open ……….

……. and broaden our culinary horizons with a couple of dumplings and an ample portion or two of stuffed cabbage (we think perhaps “staffed” may be a bit of a misprint).

Darrell has made a note on his phone for the opening day ……..

…….. and no doubt we will then be able to bring you a review of said dumplings and staffed cabbage or even some Hunter’s Stew …… nom, nom, nom!

Looks nomtastic.

"Staffed cabbage" gives one a whole new perspective on this humble vegetable. It sounds like something Hugh would have.

You can get a head start on Polish cultural treats today- it's "Fat Thursday" or Tłusty Czwartek, otherwise known as pączki (doughnut) day.

I remember in a previous job doing my bit for Anglo-Polish relations by eating some of the tasty doughnuts a Polish colleague brought in! Nom!
