The Restorative Power Of A Mug Of Sweet Tea

This morning Darrell felt suitably up to venturing into the kitchen to make us all a mug of hot sweet tea ……..

…….. let’s just say it was like pure nectar from heaven, a drink that could have been poured by the Gods themselves ……….

…….. it lifted our spirits like you wouldn’t believe  (but, naturally, not spirits of a Derek Acorah type nature), as well as quell the aches and pains that have filled every single bone of our bodies and sooth our throbbing heads, Darrell done good, very good indeed.
IMG_6522I feel that normal blog service will be resumed very soon ……… we can not fester for much longer!!!!

Nectar - the drink of the gods.

Ambrosia - the food of the gods. Either tinned custard or rice pudding?

I hope you are up and about soon.

Good to hear of some improvement in your health boys. But take it easy, don't go over doing things.

So happy to hear things are looking up as all continues on a forward path!!.....Us non-British have always heard of the restorative powers of the British cuppa tea and I am so glad to know it is true!......you are all looking quite comfy and hopefully by evening there will be even more improvement.....remember: slow and steady!....Love to all, Dianne

Mrs. D, who is Mexican, has learned a few colloquial phrases and choice words from me, including "A nice cup of tea," "sausages," in the style of the That's Life dog and "bxllocks," when someone scores against my football team, which,
unfortunately, happens with dispiriting regularity. That is soccer for you, Dianne.
