Living In Lockdown - Day 22 - Easter Treats of a Foreign Type Nature

Our Easter continues so "Happy Easter" or perhaps we should say "Kellemes húsvéti ünnepeket"!
Yesterday we met up with our lovely next door neighbour Kata in the garden, chocolate eggs were exchanged, at a safe distance of course, which was in itself emotional, and then Kata presented us with a plate of Hungarian Easter delicacies, to wit beigli, slices of poppy seed and walnut roll, we were all very overwhelmed and honoured, and needless to say it got emotional all over again.
We feasted greatly and felt very cosmopolitan in our celebrations. I loved the walnut roll best, while Darrell and Nigel favoured the poppy seed one. Our world famous richter scale of noms flew well and truly off the meter, scoring a perfect 100 noms out of 10!
It goes without saying that Darrell now wants the recipe, so he can have a go! We may be well and truly into meltdown and some of our family traditions have had to go by the wayside this year, but we've embraced a different sort of Easter and it's been every bit as wonderful!

How wonderful. 100 on the Richter scale of noms! Truly nomtastic!!

Hopefully, you can get the recipe from Kata.

If not, then try this one I made earlier. No - not true. Try this one I found online, earlier.

Oh how fabulous - makes my Easter looks rather down in the mouth. Not a square of chocolate in sight!!! I might have to make up for this error and quickly as a meltdown makes possible!!! How kind of Kata to share her delicacies! JantheFan x
