This week we will mainly be applying mustard of a Francais type nature to all our savoury dishes of choice.
Our good friend Shazzam has been to France for his vacations and whilst perusing the shelves of the French supermarkets near the port while he was waiting to board his ferry, he happened upon this very large jar of most romantic looking mustard and thought of us!
Now, we have to be honest, we are strangers to the mustard jar, mustard not being one of our obvious condiments of choice, however we are always willing to embrace a new comestible accompaniment, and this jar will certainly give us an ample sufficiency to embrace.
Not sure if it’s nom, nom, nom yet ….. Nigel says it makes his nose go all funny, but we will keep you informed as we slowly empty the jar.

Mustard - a nice dollop in a casserole perks it up I find. Dried mustard in Cheese scones a must - and clothing of a mustard colour hue quite suites my skin tone. So a love affair with mustard all round here. JantheFan x

In the US, mustard and relish on a hot dog is a classic.....all kinds of mustard popular here: from brown mustard to bright golden to dried added in a recipe.......your gorgeous French mustard looks especially yummy......Dianne
