Seedlings Ahoy!

It seems ages since we planted the “seed balls” Hugh, Darrell’s best friend and mentor, who lives the showbiz life in Notting Hill sent us and Nigel hasn’t taken his eyes off them as per our instructions ……
……. however their progress hasn’t been quite as speedy as we had hoped (or perhaps we are just too impatient), but at one stage Nigel became perilously close to giving up when day after day he was greeted by rien de rien, not a single, teeny tiny shoot!
….. and then all of a sudden there seemed to be an humungously mahoooosive splurge, et voila,  seedlings akimbo!  We could do with a little spreading out and had told Nigel that now is probably a good time to start pricking them out, at which he looked a little askance, until we explained what pricking out meant.
He did try bless him, with a spoon, but got in to a bit of a mess and then became afraid that he might “murder” some of them with his heavy handed, spooned approach, so he has decided to let nature take it’s course ….. but will continue to water and talk to them with all due diligence and see what flowerings will ensue.

Looking good.
Will he tell them some of his world-renowned musings?
They will grow extra fast but maybe extra confused too.

I'm worried about how dirty Nigel's been getting this week. First the hole, then his jammy face and now the soil.

I hope Nigel has a suitable shower cap so he can have a bath!
