It Doesn’t Really Feel Right Doing This Without Darrell And Nigel, But .......

Bless them, Darrell and Nigel decided it would be nice to send me a packet of Polish confectionary to review, as they are having such a field day  experimenting with Polish comestibles in Evesham and didn’t want me to feel left out!!
I am not sure how exactly to pronounce the said Evesham comestibles ………
…… I think it’s “draze”  and looking at the illustrations and feeling the packet, I assumed, rightly, that they were little candy coated, chocolaty balls……
…… which I decided to test out while sitting watching my favourite afternoon guilty pleasure, Judge Rinder, thinking that the solemnity of the court room would give me a good basis for an honest assessment!
Well ……,  I did like them, but not half as much as a Minstrel, Smartie or M & M.  The shell was nice and thick which was most acceptable, but the centre was more of a cocoa type confection affair which I find hard to describe, but it wasn’t the smooth chocolaty texture I am normally used to.  However, having said that, I wouldn’t refuse them if proffered again.
And so, for this one handed confectionary review I would give the Draze a very simple and uncomplicated score of sześć z dziesięciu (6 out of 10) on my Richter Scale of Polish Confectionary Noms and dziesięciu z dziesięciu (10 out of 10) for Judge Rinder’s judgements!!!!

The judge seems most impressive, even if the sweets aren't.

Oooh-it must be like being a testing panel, being sent food to sample.

Good information to know should we have the opportunity to choose a Polish confectionary.......but peaceful time with a favourite program is always a winner! ......Dianne
