Sadly, due to his diminutive size Nigel is unable to partake in any manly activities that involve the wielding of a power tool of any precarious type nature …..
…… however, it doesn’t stop him from very much admiring and encouraging the endeavours of them what does.
Yesterday Laci, our lovely neighbour Kata’s husband, decided to clear our bank leading down to the river as it had become a little over run by nettles and some sort of sticky weed type thing etc. and obscuring our views.
Nigel was totally in thrall of Lac’s strimmer but obeyed all strict instructions not to touch, no matter how tempted …….
…… and to stay on the other side of the fence.
……. but, if he wanted to be helpful, he could untangle all the bindweed and removed it from the fence.
Well, the little fella was as happy as a pig in muck after that, feeling useful and enjoying some manly banter in both English and the odd bit of Hungarian like “hallgassa meg azokat a virágzó kanadai libákat, amelyek valami krónikus dolgot csinálnak” or translated “listen to those blooming canada geese honking something chronic”
And the bank? It looks pretty brilliant, our wonderful view restored, perfect for people watching all the walkers who now avail themselves, in their many fold, of path at the bottom, partaking in their daily, government permitted exercise. Happy, sun shiny days!

Great job Laci! And Nigel, with his support.
Laci is short for László. I imagine the most famous László is László Bíró, famous for the ballpoint pen, which is named after him.
Oh this looks just lovely. Wish I were walking down the riverbank with you boyz right now. Feeling emosh. JantheFan x
