Nigel, No ……

As you know, back en Angleterre Nigel has a bit of a thing for “finding” things that he thinks may eventually be of use or simply kept as a curiosity or trophy …….
…… however, I am finding that on our Greek beach of choice, I really need to keep an eagle eye on him and said unique “finding skills!
I know that certain glazed look that comes over his little face …….
……. when he hones in on something he “thinks” may be a “treasure” or “useful”…….
…… and that quiver of tangible and palpable anticipated excitement when he finally decides that “the something” has been really and truly abandoned, and he can toddle over and collect the spoils ……..
Thank goodness I caught him in time yesterday  …… otherwise the lady of a Scandinavian type nature, lounging  to our left, may have found she had lost a certain rigid accoutrement that I strongly suspect Nigel had ideas of turning into a flower planter, like the ones he had seen in the Oxfam shop in Evesham a while back!!!!  What is he like?
