Well, what can I say ....... Darrell has excelled himself yet again ......... The Towers Halls have never been so resplendent and festively decked! Each year he just adds a little more frou frou.
I'll be honest, Nigel and I had absolutely nothing do with any of it's execution .......
..... as Darrell always knows exactly what he was doing (and has spreadsheets to prove it) any offer of assistance would have been politely refused with one of Darrell's off the shoulder, creative flourishes.
So, not wishing to hinder him by getting under his festive slipper clad feet, we retreated into town for a breakfast bacon and sausage bap a piece, plus large mug of builders tea, a light lunch and afternoon tea and cakes until we reckoned it would be safe to return home, taking with us a fish and chip supper with extra curry sauce and mushy peas!
And what we were greeted by did not disappoint.
The boy "dun gud, despite his reservations about the introduction of colour he'd bought in to the bedrooms earlier on in the year
It all worked and it wasn't just beginning to feel like Christmas .......
......... it really, really felt like Christmas.

As Darrell lead us round The Towers we could only marvel at his attention to detail, Father Christmas will certainly not find us wanting in the decoration stakes this year when he comes round on Christmas Eve. Needless to say, our fish supper went down a treat, followed by Maltesers all round as poor Darrell hadn't eaten all day to make sure he could pull it all off ...... and this is only the bedrooms, we haven't shown you his/our festive shelves yet!
