A Stakeout? Outside Castle Greysquirrel

Darrell spotted it first ……
……. then me ……..
…… there was a police car parked to the side of Castle Greysquirrel last night for quite a considerable time with a lady police officer ensconced within, who appeared to be making copious notes.
We did debate for a while as to whether we should go over, knock on the window and offer the said police officer a cup of tea and couple of hob nobs and perhaps even a wagon wheel ……
…… but in the end we decided that perhaps if she was on surveillance duties our proffering of refreshments might blow her cover and we could then become accessories after the fact …… and that would be too awful to contemplate.
So Darrell and Nigel kept the police car under surveillance from one of our upstairs windows …..   only leaving their post for a few moments to make themselves a flask, thinking that it might be a long night, only to find, when they returned, it had gone ….. so none of us are any the wiser as to what was occurring!

I want Hobnobs!
Not a very subtle car from which to surveil someone.
I want Hobnobs and I have just run out of Marmite. Oh no! I can't get any more until the summer.

I hope the police woman wasn't trying to be inconspicuous; afraid that vehicle would "stick out like a sore thumb" for one and all to notice and wonder about......she's got my attention for certain .....you do have one interesting adventure after another.....dum de dum dum ...curiosity in full bloom! ......Dianne
