Living La Vida Lockdown – Day 81 – Nigel’s Nose Is Put Out.

It goes without saying that a visit from our window cleaner Jeff is always a very exciting occasion for Nigel ……..

…….. any opportunity to see a manly tool being wielded in a masterly fashion and there’s no doing with him …….

…… and our window cleaner does wield an awfully long pole with great skill and agility ……..

…….. which didn’t escape our lovely neighbour Kata’s attention either, because much to Nigel’s chagrin, she was outside offering Jeff light refreshment before even poor Nigel had the wit too ……

…… I tell you, you don’t often see Nigel in a strop, but he had a right cob on him after that!

However, to lift the mood, I did point out to him that Jeff had chosen our window and not Kata’s to rest his pole while he took a break and that seemed to pacify the little fella ………

……. along with the solemn promise that I would find out from our management company when Jeff was due next, so that he could be well ahead of Kata in the proffering tea stakes and for good measure I would also get some Kit Kats in to curry enough favour for Jeff to perhaps allow Nigel to have a squirt of his water tank.  What am I like?
