Oh my goodness me, when Darrell said yesterday that he didn’t want to peak too soon in the comestible treat stakes……….
……. and that he was keeping something up his sleeve for today, he wasn’t kidding ……
……. as he’d only gotten some Marmite Cream Cheese for our delectation too!
As he served it up simply spread on a water biscuit with a sprig of cucumber his little face was a picture …….
……. he finally been able to bring us something we’d all be salivating at the thought of since the beginning of March.
Did it live up to all our expectations? Is the Pope Catholic??????
We thought the Marmite butter yesterday was too wonderful for words, if a little expensive but the Marmite cream cheese managed to top it in spades.
Although it looked a little on the pale side, it packed a smooth, tangy, savoury punch that was pure heaven on a cracker. Darrell “dun gud”
Our Richter scale of noms? I think you can forget Richter scales of any sort for this one. We absolutely loved it. At £2.50 for a small tub, it’s still a little pricey, but if we spread it a little more thinly than Darrell’s generous dollops we could easily make it last, so we will be back for more.
The only thing of a Marmite type nature that continues to elude us is the Marmite Savoury Twist …….. we don’t have any in our sights as of yet, meltdown certainly isn’t helping the situation, but patience is a virtue best served cold, so be rest assured, we shall be the victors …… eventually! Happy Nomming

Marmite heaven! Right off the Richter scale of noms! Nomtastic, indeed.
The Marmite Twists sound great, too.
Mind you, I would settle for Marmite on toast, or a Marmite sandwich, too.
Another interesting review of a Marmite product. Your talent at finding these goodies is amazing-I never knew any of these existed!

Now boyz, this sounds a bit more palatable to me.....maybe I could even get to like this one. I'll watch out for it. JantheFan x
