Sorry no gazebo/garden pictures ……. goodness only knows how, but someone, who shall remain nameless, in all the rush to get to Lavender Fields …….. forgot to pack the camera, doh!
We are now back home after a very EMOTIONAL, in capital letters, day yesterday. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to finally find ourselves back in the bosom of our socially distanced family, under the gazebo in the Lovely Laura and Tom the Scientists garden, with our beloved Little Miss Iris and Young Master Bertie, even if it was, after so many hot days, a tad chilly and damp …….. love conquers all.
Darrell’s Pavlova was a triumph, after Tom’s delicious barbeque lunch, as was the Percy Pig ice-cream, Percy Pig sauce and Percy Pig confectionery that we also took along. As Nigel so succinctly put it “What’s an horrendous amount of E numbers when you’ve been apart for over ten weeks?!!”
It was sad to say goodbye at the end of the day, but lockdown is by no means over, however as long as the weather is OK, we are welcome to go up and socially distance to our hearts content in the garden, whenever we want ……. try keeping us away.

Shame about the camera, but you have all those memories permanently in your brains and hearts, which is even better!
Oh there will be plenty of time for cameras. So pleased it was wonderful. JantheFan x
