If this is the “new normal” it’s absaluply flipping WONDERFUL…….
……. what more can I say, with our first Support Bubble Sleepover just over, we’re totally exhausted ……
……. with Uncle Nigel, in particular, being a little battered and bruised from all the hugging to an inch of his life ………
…….. but we wouldn’t change a single second for all the world, not after 84 long, long days in solitary, isolated meltdown.
We’ve drawn ……..
…….. we’ve taken two long walks along the river, where we’ve fed the ducks and Iris managed to capture goodness knows how many waterside inhabiting Pokemon for us, as we are truly rubbish at it.
Darrell served up, what seemed to be a million and one restaurant standard meals and snacks, plus a picnic ……….
………. as well as allowing his precious bubble bath collection to be mercilessly purloined ……
...... for our triumphant “midnight bath” ………
……. with a make believe tea party illuminated by glowsticks, and a colour changing underwater light and helped along by two full cans of play foam …….. however, we did draw the line at silly string, despite plaintiff cries to the otherwise.......
…… as it soon became obvious that the tidying up operation afterwards ………
……. would not be perhaps quite as pleasurable!
So this will be now our “new norm” a couple of days each week from now on, it might have even been emotional if we’d had the time! There are many more, if a little bit different, happily blissful, wonderful summer days ahead to make as much hay as we (and they) like, thank you Boris!

What a superb day! What an impressive array of bubble bath! With lots of different colours and "flavours."
Oh my, that made my heart melt. Such precious times and memories for wonderful little people. They are so very, very lucky to have you all. JantheFan x
