…….. the musty smell of the leaves and the very satisfactory rustley sound they make as he kicks his way joyfully through (and totally obliterates) the many neat piles swept up by our moustachioed caretaker Mark for reasons of Health and Safety ……

Leaf angels - very imaginative.
I taught Mrs. D how to make snow angels in the only time she has been to a country where there was snow.
There is nothing better than scrunching and crunching through autumnal leaves - tut, health and safety - the world has gone mad!!!
