There is an excitement in the air at work at the moment that is both robustly tangible and palpable as the English and Music Departments are shortly to hold casting auditions for West Side Story.
Rumour has it that the auditioning process will be even more stringent than The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent combined and that certain panellist's critiques will make Simon Cowell look like a pussy cat …..
…… however Darrell and Nigel cannot be dissuaded from the prospect of treading the boards in one of the most, in their opinion, iconoclastic musicals of all time! What are they like and where did they learn words like that?
It says on the board that auditionees can audition in whatever accent they feel most comfortable with ….. so Nigel says that he is going to audition highlighting a strong Welsh/French influence …..

Why not audition with a mix of Cockney and Gornal accents? Combine the two in your part. One sentence of one followed by one of the other until the end, just to show your versatility?
