Nigel Indulges ….. Fairtrade Big Fair Bake

It seems to have been cake akimbo for us this week  ….. so it is most fortuitous that we are all very partial to a slice or bun or two …. nom, nom, nom!
Fairtrade Cake SaleOn Friday the young ladies organised a Fairtrade Big Cake Bake where you could “Buy It, Bake It and Share it” and Nigel decided that he would go for the “buy it” option ……and then added his own category “eat it without it touching the sides”!
Fairtrade. Cake SaleIt goes without saying that Nigel was at the front of the queue and soon homed in on his cake of choice ……
049We thought he might go for a cake of a rufty tufty masculine type nature …Iced Fancy Fairtrade Cake Stall….. but he opted to spend his 50p on a confection of great delicacy, with the most romantic icing.
Nom Nom NomIt did seem a bit of a shame to eat such a wonderful work of art but Nigel didn’t stand on ceremony …. and the roses went down first ……
Nom nom nom.….. followed by the cake itself.  And Nigel’s verdict?  …… Nom, nom, nom, thrice nom ….. and then he went back to see if there were any cakes leftover and in danger of going stale,  after borrowing another 50p from Cook!  What is he like?

A cupcake to us but a veritable giant in relation to the size of Nigel. It looks like a huge wedding cake in his arms. It looks as thought a happy couple should cut it with a knife.
Not quite good enough for TtS and lovely L.

may be the girls could make lots of them for TtS and the lovely L Wedding cake but they will have to do a good deal on the price i would say 15p a cake as it would be their first big do and the publicity would be worth it for them big love marc
