Nigel Does Brooklyn

Well, I say Brooklyn, but it’s a big place, so what he actually did was just a tiny weeny bit of Brooklyn Heights ……….

…….. having found that it was a simple straight line on the subway from Times Square.

He wanted to see the iconic Brooklyn brownstone houses with the steps that go up to the front door, that he had seen so many times in films ……..

…….. and also because he had been told that the views across the river over to Manhattan were truly breathtaking.

He was not disappointed ……….

…… and the goosebumps and hair standing up on end moments that he has now grown used to ensued! To quote John Travolta, he had chills and they were multiplying!

…… and, unbelievably, it was sooooooooooooo quiet ……..

……. which gave him time to reflect …….

He says that he knows he really is in New York ……. but even now, after all this time, it still feels like he is in a dream and afraid he is is going to wake up one morning and find it has all been a Bobby Ewing type dream, bless him!
