The Art Department asked if we would like to view the A Level Art Show
before the general public were allowed in …..
….. we all felt greatly honoured …..
….. and stunned by the talent.
While I very much admired the paintings and drawings ……
Darrell and Nigel were very taken by the dimensional exhibits
However, I am not sure quite how much they should have interacted with them ….
…. feeling certain that they were pushing interactive boundaries……
….. a little too far ….
Finally, when I asked Darrell and Nigel what had been their very favourite piece of work ……
They both replied, without hesitation, that by far it had been the pictures of the cupcakes ……
….. which had evoked in them and I quote “….
the feelings of seeking comfort, coupled with the slight pang of sudden hunger and it’s ensuing satisfaction”, which saw them heading for the school kitchen for an impromptu snack ….. what are they like? You just can’t take them anywhere!

Best not let them near the Tate, the Courtauld or the Hayward Galleries when next in London.
The security guards would not be amused.
P.S.
The anonymous above was actually me.
Gotta love their response that went straight to the heart and soul of the matter.....they are true art lovers who know what they like!...
