Usually, when we are away in foreign climes we like to immerse ourselves in the culture of the country, but on this trip Stuart has us on such a tight schedule it’s a case of when we get back to our hotel at the end of the day it’s tea, followed by a lecture, then perhaps a shower and bed, and to be honest after our said shower, bed is all we want!
However, this morning, before breakfast, while Nigel was attending to his blisters with a copious supply of savlon and plasters, I decided to switch on the TV.
Let’s just say that after flicking through most of the channels I was none the wiser …… it was all a case of guess work! My theory is that the programme above “could” be the Icelandic version of Masterchef, but I am basing my guess wholly on the gentleman on the left looking as if he might like his food, and the stern and authoritative looking faces of the others! But, for all I know, I could be very wrong and it could have been the line up for Icelandic Breakfast TV or Question Time.
There was, however, one familiar face, Andy’s very favourite televisual programme of choice “Minder”, but quite what he would made of this version heaven only knows!

It is always interesting to see what other countries watch, apart from soap operas.
Very much like the graphics with with boat and fisherman.....is that George Cole I see on Minder?.....know George from other programs, but not familiar with Minder......interesting to try to figure it all out!.....Dianne
Dianne,
I thought it was from Minder. He was the spiv, Flash Harry, in the old St. Trinians films.
Thank you, Mr. D.......seen George many times over the years but definitely not all that he has done....Dianne
