The Eurovision Song Contest 2014

OMG, what a most awful faux pas ……. the faux pas of all faux pas’s …..
Eurovision-Song-Contest-2014-MAIN……. our Televisual Highlight of the Year, the Eurovision Song Contest seems to have almost robustly passed us by …… it’s only TONIGHT!!!!!!! …… And Monkey and Nigel are still in Iceland, without a clue what’s going on, they just will never believe this when I tell them!
As it is, none of us has a clue about our entry, and we have certainly never heard of our representative Molly?????,  let alone heard our song …… Universal Something????? ……
However, despite this travesty of ignorance and the absence of Monkey and Nigel, I have decided to soldier on and celebrate and embrace all that is Eurovision on my own ….. and tweet my considered opinion along with Graham Norton during the evening,  as I have done once in the past.
I shall also put together a smorgasbord of comestible refreshment for myself when I nip over to the Tesco Express later on today and then fly the flag for the UK!
I just cannot believe that I/we could so easily have missed it this year …..  questions MUST be asked in Parliament!!!!

The best Eurovision lyrics are "boom banga bang, inky pinky parlez vous."
I think it is about George and his Banga bus.

Oh Mr D - you are funny! I haven't caught up with the whole Euro thingy myself - I did think of you when I heard about it on the radio yesterday though Monkey! You might be on your own while watching it but we will be with you in spirit so to speak! A tot of brandy in my glass might help! Janthefan x
