Oh dear, how do we tell Nigel that we have “lost” another fish!
Darrell noticed a tiny fishy corpse floating sadly at the bottom of the tank first and then called me …. and then welled up a little ….
…. but he put all manly sniffs aside as he did, to quote from John Wayne this time ...."what a man's got to do" …. hoping against hope that perhaps Nigel wouldn’t notice that we were unfortunately another guppy down ……

Life is so hard at times; hope Nigel will be able to weather this storm....I'm certain he will with the help of his friends and family.....Everyone's caring will honour the dear little guppy...Dianne

tropical fish seem to have short lifes get a pet rock they last for ever and cost nothing to keep big love marc ,BOYS we will be your pets big licks and tail wag love the london fan club girls
I've never managed to keep guppies alive for all that long. Get Nigel a golden bristle-nosed plec or a twig catfish. They won't die and they're pretty interesting-looking so would be right up his street! :-)
Replace the guppy with a lookalike?
Risky business.
Have a hearfelt talk, with plenty of hankies on hand?
Maybe the best option.
Great blog you have here.. It's difficult to find good quality writing like yours these days. I seriously appreciate people like you! Take care!!
