Britain’s Got Talent ….. Did You Really Think We Wouldn’t Mention It?

We have had quite a few e-mails from several of our fans signed “concerned” saying “Oi Boys, ….. you’ve been unusually quiet about Britain’s Got Talent, surely you can’t be giving it a miss this year?????!!!!!!”
Well, concerned of Newcastle, Mexico, Florida, Manchester and London etc., etc., we can safely assure you that we haven’t missed a single nano second of one of our most televisual highlights of the year, indeed, we have been robustly absorbed in all the proceedings ….
……….. but have been stealing ourselves to share the great joy of the grand final next week ……
However, since you have all mentioned it …….last night we very much enjoyed the last of the semi finals ……
….. treating ourselves to a few M & M’s and passing a tub of Ben and Jerry’s Core ice cream …. which believe us is very corrrrrrrrrrrrrr, and nom, nom, nom, with whistles and flutes!
However …….
…… the great import of the evening was naturally where our penultimate valuable vote would go ……..
……. and as such, there was MUCH discussion ………

……. and debate, most of it heated, as to into whose direction that aforementioned penultimate vote would be cast ……..
….. in the end it went to La Voix and the London Gay Big Band because we all very much appreciate the Big Band sound, with all its glitz and glamour, as Darrell declared at one point during deliberations “Boy Bands are soooooooooooooooo last year, it's the time for rhythm, sax and horns, feather boas, DJ's and ladies with enormous hair!!!!!!”
It has been another excellent BGT season, the envy of the world, with  Darrell, I suspect developing a teensy weensy crush on Aleshia…..
…… and me trying to cultivate my best Simon Cowell expression ....... but I digress,  here’s to the final to find an act fit for our beloved Queen …… bring it on!

That Big Band sound is always a hard to beat winner......sooo much stress narrowing it down to one but a few tasty snacks are a help when there is so much to debate!.....a Castle Greysquirrel tradition no one wants to miss, especially those of us with enquiring minds!!....Dianne

Oops, my comment didn't appear.

I'm sure you could do a Simon Cowell impression better tan Simon Cowell can.
