With their £24 Bonus Ball winnings burning a hole in both Darrell and Nigel’s pockets there has been much robust debate chez Castle Greysquirrel, though, for a change not heated debate, to be honest it could have been classed more as debatable banter, as to how the money should be spent ……
…….. confectionary was a considered mooting point but once digested, although much pleasure would have been derived from its consumption there would have been nothing left to show of their jubilant win in the end.
A trip out was also contemplated, there would be memories and photographs ….. but again nothing tangible to show afterwards (well….. except for said aforementioned photographs).
In the end it was obvious that what they really wanted was something of a practical type nature, that we could all feel the benefit of every day and that Darrell and Nigel could say was what they had done with our very fortuitous Bonus Ball win and if possible …… Darrell suggested it should be something a little bit de rigueur …… something that Hugh, his best friend and mentor who leads the showbiz life in Notting Hill would have ……. and I could see by the twinkle in his eye that he already had an idea!
There then followed much whispering and sage nodding between Darrell and Nigel and then, Darrell was gone, bus pass in hand, £24 in his said burning pocket ….. 
…… and Nigel calling after him that he trusted his taste in what was de rigueur implicitly!!!! What are they like?

With Darrell's London experience and Hugh's nurturing, this de rigueur surprise is going to be of the fabulous sort.....I'm with dear Nigel trusting Darrell's taste implicitly!......Dianne
I wonder wht it could be. Maybe it is most suitable for the London scene but what about the Wolverhampton one?
